Xbox Game Pass Adds Halo: Campaign Evolved and Five More Games Before August

Microsoft has announced the second Xbox Game Pass wave for July 2026, adding six games between 22 and 31 July before two more arrive on 4 August.

Shift at Midnight joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on 22 July. The online co-op horror game puts up to three players behind the counter of a petrol station, where customers must be questioned and checked for dangerous impostors.

Hell is Us follows on 23 July for cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Its action-adventure structure removes many conventional navigation markers, asking players to investigate a war-torn setting and work out routes with less guidance.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is the headline arrival on 28 July. Microsoft describes it as a rebuilt version of the original Halo campaign with updated visuals and controls, three new missions, an expanded arsenal and online co-op for up to four players. It is listed for cloud, console, handheld and PC through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Mistfall Hunter arrives on 30 July as a dark-fantasy extraction action RPG. Corsair Cove follows on PC on 31 July with city-building, production-chain management and naval exploration.

On 4 August, the enhanced Heretic + Hexen collection and Game Freak's Beast of Reincarnation are scheduled to join the service. Zenless Zone Zero players with eligible Game Pass tiers also receive an in-game benefit from 29 July.

Plan downloads before the deadline

For Nigerian PC players and game cafes, the practical issue is bandwidth and storage. Check each title's final install size, hardware requirements and launcher availability before joining or upgrading a subscription. Preloading where offered can prevent a large daytime download from disrupting a shared connection.

Back to the Dawn, Celeste, Crusader Kings III, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, My Friendly Neighborhood, Rain World, Sniper Elite: Resistance and Whiskerwood are scheduled to leave Game Pass on 31 July. Players midway through those games should prioritise them now and verify whether save files will carry into a purchased copy.

Game Pass tiers, cloud-gaming support, billing and regional availability are not identical in every country. Nigerian users should confirm what their account region actually offers before paying through a third party. Do not assume that every feature shown on the US announcement page is officially available on a Nigerian account.
