NGLA Unity Series: Next Round

A Nigerian-founded esports organiser is connecting Free Fire communities across Africa through the NGLA Unity Series. Its published programme schedules the Grand Final for Friday, 30 October. The 21–24 October Clash Squad window is now in the past; results and a final roster have not been verified.

Naija Guild Leaders’ Assembly lists 24 starting teams from more than 11 countries and regions for the October competition. The organiser identifies Ibadan as its Nigerian operational foundation: this is a Nigerian community building a continental competitive stage, not merely following an overseas tournament.

The route to the final

NGLA’s published format takes 18 teams into the Swiss stage, with a maximum of five matches per team. Twelve qualify for the final, scheduled across eight Battle Royale maps. The earlier Swiss window was 14–17 October; 21–24 October was the second scheduled window of that phase.

Those are competition-format and schedule details, not a claim that a named team has already qualified for the final. Fans should use the organiser’s latest match notices and results before treating an older roster graphic or a proposed fixture as final.

For Nigerian players and supporters, the wider significance is the route from local guild communities into cross-border competition. NGLA also describes a dedicated women’s pathway through the African Women Esports League. That structure deserves attention alongside the eventual champion.

Follow NGLA’s official updates for the next fixtures and viewing links. The schedule does not establish a verified cash-prize amount, so none is being advertised here. This report is not a new team-registration call.
