Modern Warfare 4 Is Live: Check Your SSD and PC Security Requirements

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is now available worldwide, following its 23 October launch. For Nigerian PC players, the first decision is not just whether to buy: check your storage, connection and security compatibility before committing to the download.

Activision’s published PC specifications require an SSD with 115GB of available space, broadband internet, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Updates may require additional storage. A computer that meets older Call of Duty requirements should not be assumed compatible without checking the new specifications.

The minimum configuration lists Windows 10 64-bit, 8GB RAM and an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-6600 processor. Listed minimum graphics options include the Radeon RX 470, GeForce GTX 970 or GTX 1060, and Intel Arc A580. Intel Arc systems also require Resizable BAR.

For its recommended multiplayer configuration targeting 90 frames per second at High settings, Activision lists Windows 11, 16GB RAM, a Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i7-8700K, and a Radeon RX 6600 XT, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or Intel Arc B580. That target is not a performance guarantee for every system.

The launch includes a campaign, multiplayer and DMZ in Hajin. PC versions are offered through Xbox on PC, Battle.net and Steam.

For players managing prepaid data or shared gaming-centre installations, the published storage requirement is a planning figure—not a verified download size or Nigerian data-cost estimate. Check your chosen storefront’s current installation details and Nigerian checkout terms before paying. NairaGame has not independently verified a local retail price or subscription entitlement for this report.

Do not change BIOS or security settings blindly. Use Activision’s compatibility guidance and your PC manufacturer’s instructions if TPM or Secure Boot needs attention.
