Marvel's Wolverine Locks in September 15 as New Trailer Reveals The Hand

Marvel's Wolverine now has a firm release date: September 15, 2026, exclusively on PlayStation 5. Insomniac Games confirmed the date alongside a new story trailer shown during San Diego Comic-Con.

The trailer puts Logan's conflict with Jean Grey in view and introduces The Hand as a major threat. Lady Deathstrike also appears, while the footage leans into the brutal, close-range combat expected from Wolverine rather than treating him like another Spider-Man-style hero. PlayStation says pre-orders are now open.

For Nigerian players, the date is useful for budgeting early. A new first-party PS5 release can land at different prices depending on region, exchange rates and whether a seller is offering a physical copy or a digital code. Buyers should confirm the region attached to any code and ask local retailers or game cafes about stock before paying for a launch-day promise.

The September release also gives Nigerian creators and cafe operators time to plan review sessions, launch tournaments or community play nights around one of PlayStation's biggest 2026 releases.
