GTA 6 Multiplayer Rumours: What Rockstar Has Confirmed

Correction (27 September 2026): An earlier version of this article presented unverified claims about player-run businesses, dynamic cities and gang wars in GTA 6 multiplayer. We have not found a source that establishes those features, so we have removed the claims.

Rockstar's published information currently describes Grand Theft Auto VI as a single-player experience scheduled for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That announcement does not give a GTA 6 multiplayer launch date or confirm the features claimed in our earlier post. Readers should treat social-media clips and alleged leaks as unverified unless Rockstar publishes matching details.

What Nigerian buyers can check now

Before ordering a console or game copy, confirm that the listing is for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, that the edition matches your platform account's region, and that the seller states whether the product is digital or a code in a physical box. Rockstar says the physical edition contains a download code, so buyers should confirm that the code is unused and usable with their account before paying. Ask the seller about refund terms if the code fails.

Rockstar's published launch information is about the base game. It does not establish what any future online mode will include, what it will cost, or whether it will be available on launch day. A purchase decision should therefore rest on the confirmed single-player game and the current edition terms, not a multiplayer rumour.
