EA FC 26 ENC Ladder Opens July 29: What Nigerian Players Must Do Now

Nigeria's EA SPORTS FC players have a five-day window to begin their push for the Esports Nations Cup 2026. The FC ENC Ladder opens on July 29 and runs until August 2, with registration handled inside the game.

This is Nigeria's regular African qualification route, not the separate special qualifier announced for countries outside the standard eligibility list. Eligible Nigerian players should enter through the Africa ladder and check the official rules before playing.

HOW TO ENTER

Registration takes place in-game. Players should not rely on an unofficial WhatsApp form, social-media screenshot or third-party promise of a slot. Open EA SPORTS FC 26, find the ENC competition notice and confirm that the account, platform, region and online-play requirements are satisfied.

The tournament uses EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team in FC Pro mode. Citizenship and residency determine the country a player can represent, so anyone entering for Nigeria should make sure their personal and account information can be verified if requested.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

The ladder can accept an unlimited number of African entries, but only 128 players from Africa progress to the regional qualifier stage. Those regional qualifiers take place on August 8 and 9, using Swiss play on the first day and a double-elimination bracket on the second.

Africa has six places at the ENC Finals in Riyadh. Across the full tournament, no country can field more than two players, and the finals carry a $600,000 prize pool.

A PRACTICAL CHECKLIST FOR NIGERIAN PLAYERS

Before July 29, update the game and console, confirm the correct EA account and region, test the controller and internet connection, and create enough time for a five-day ladder rather than treating it like a one-match qualifier. Players should also keep screenshots of registration, results and any technical issue that affects a match.

Power and connectivity can decide a run before the football does. Players using a game cafe or shared setup should confirm account privacy, controller condition, network stability and uninterrupted playing time with the venue before logging in.

For Nigerian cafes, coaches and organisers, this is an opportunity to support overlooked players with practice sessions, stable setups and rule checks. Any public viewing or training programme should be described as community support unless it has formal approval from ENC or EA.
