CODM’s Scheduled Downloads
Call of Duty: Mobile’s Season 9 introduces a practical change for Nigerian players managing limited data: seasonal content can be downloaded ahead of time through the in-game Download Manager. Activision announced the option alongside Vampires vs Werewolves, scheduled to launch on 14 October at 5pm Pacific—1am WAT on 15 October.
That gives players more control over when a download happens. It does not reduce the file size or make a mobile-data connection free. Check the actual download shown on your device, available storage and your bundle’s conditions before starting.
A different team target
Leader’s Kill Confirmed assigns one mech-equipped leader to each side. Defeating that player drops a higher-value tag, then transfers the role to a teammate. Protecting your own leader matters alongside collecting tags and attacking the opposition.
The season also adds the Fang Wars faction event and the Grav assault rifle in the Battle Pass’s free tiers. Premium cosmetics and store draws remain paid options; a seasonal update is not a requirement to buy them.
For Nigerian squads, the useful first step is to agree on a play session after everyone has checked their downloads. Keep optional purchases separate from the cost of getting online, and use the live Events tab for each activity’s availability. Do not assume every returning playlist runs for the entire season.
