COD Mobile Season 6 Brings Persona 5, FSS Hurricane and New Ranked Rewards
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6, Take Your Heart, is now live with a Persona 5 Royal crossover, a new submachine gun, another multiplayer mode and fresh ranked rewards.
The collaboration changes the usual Plunder format through Plunder Treasure Hunt. Special domains appear on the Isolated battle-royale map, where squads fight waves of Persona-inspired enemies and compete for treasure. A separate themed event space adds shooting galleries and unlockable rewards.
Season 6 also introduces Throwable Frenzy, a 5v5 multiplayer mode built around Combat Axes and randomly appearing targets. There are no normal loadouts or scorestreaks in the mode; players select buffs and score by hitting targets or slowing the opposing team.
New weapon and ranked grind
The FSS Hurricane SMG is available through the free Battle Pass tiers, alongside the returning VTOL Jet scorestreak. Ranked players can pursue the SO-14 - Onyx Wrath blueprint in multiplayer and the Enigma - Zavesa operator skin in battle royale.
Paid draws and the premium pass include additional cosmetics, but the new weapon and scorestreak are not limited to the paid track. Nigerian players should separate gameplay unlocks from optional cosmetics before spending CP.
What it means for Nigerian squads and organisers
The current season gives tournament organisers enough new material for community nights, but competitive rules need to be explicit. Hosts should state whether newly released weapons, scorestreaks and event modes are permitted, publish the device policy, and confirm the game version before check-in.
Players preparing for ranked matches or local competitions should complete the update and download required resources before arriving at a venue. On mobile data, optional map and cosmetic packs can add to the total download, so use the in-game download manager deliberately.
Buy CP only through recognised channels and never hand over an Activision, Facebook, Apple or Google login to a seller. A cheap top-up is not worth losing the account.
Activision launched Season 6 on 1 July at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. The content and store rotation can change during the season, so check the live Events and Store tabs for current availability.
