Xbox Game Pass August Wave 1 Adds Gears E-Day Beta and More

Microsoft has announced the first August 2026 wave for Xbox Game Pass, with several additions relevant to Nigerian PC players. The Gears of War: E-Day early-access beta begins on 6 August for eligible Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. It includes Horde Siege and is also available through Steam, according to the game’s official page.

Other additions include Heretic + Hexen and Beast of Reincarnation, followed by Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road, PowerWash Simulator 2, Bounty Star, Date Everything!, Grounded 2, Ball x Pit, Cricket 26, Mio: Memories in Orbit, Sandustry and Egging On across different dates and platforms.

Atlas Fallen, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Firewatch and the PC Game Preview version of Menace are scheduled to leave on 15 August. Nigerian PC players should prioritise any departing game already in progress and use reliable or off-peak broadband for large downloads. Platform labels differ across the list, so confirm that a game is marked for PC before downloading. The E-Day beta’s exact WAT opening time and server availability should be checked on the live official page.
