Xbox Backward Compatibility Reaches PC With Four Classic Games
Xbox has started bringing its backward-compatibility catalogue to Windows PCs and handhelds, opening with four original Xbox games: BLiNX: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live & Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Fuzion Frenzy.
Microsoft says the early release began on 22 July 2026. The games are included across Xbox Game Pass plans, while players who already own eligible digital console licences can carry them over to PC at no extra charge. Cloud play and Xbox Play Anywhere support vary by title and device.
For Nigerian PC gamers, the expansion creates another route to older console titles without buying legacy hardware. Check the Xbox app’s account region, subscription status, controller support and download requirements before committing data.
