VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026

The championship represents the culmination of the 2026 Game Changers season, bringing together teams that have fought through regional competitions across the Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China. Over more than a week of competition, the participating teams will battle on LAN for the opportunity to become the 2026 Game Changers world champion.

For VALORANT fans, the event represents one of the major international competitions on the esports calendar and will put the spotlight on some of the strongest teams and players in the Game Changers ecosystem.

São Paulo Becomes the Centre of VALORANT Action

The championship will be hosted at the Riot Games Arena São Paulo, located in the Barra Funda district of São Paulo, Brazil.

According to Riot Games, matches will be played in front of a live audience throughout the championship. Doors are scheduled to open at 2:00 p.m. BRT, with matches beginning at 3:00 p.m. BRT.

The decision to stage the championship in São Paulo gives Brazilian fans an opportunity to experience a major international VALORANT event in person.

The venue is expected to provide an arena atmosphere as teams from different regions meet on the same stage.

Ten Teams Competing for the Championship

The 2026 championship will feature 10 qualified teams representing the different Game Changers regions.

The qualification process has taken place throughout the year, with teams competing in their respective regional circuits to secure their places at the global championship.

The tournament will bring together representatives from the Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China, creating an international field with different competitive styles and regional approaches to VALORANT.

For many players, reaching the Game Changers Championship represents the culmination of an entire competitive season.

Every regional match has effectively contributed to the road toward São Paulo, where teams will finally have the opportunity to compete against the world's best.

Championship Schedule

Riot Games lists the championship from 22 October to 1 November 2026. Match dates and the final bracket should be checked against the official VALORANT Esports schedule.

More Than a Tournament

Game Changers is designed to support and develop the inclusive competitive VALORANT ecosystem.

The championship provides a global stage for players who have spent the season competing in regional leagues and qualifiers. It also gives fans an opportunity to follow players and teams who may not receive the same level of attention during the broader VALORANT competitive calendar.

The São Paulo event will therefore be about more than simply determining a champion. It will also bring together players, creators and members of the VALORANT community.

Riot Games has confirmed that championship weekend will include community activities and fan activations alongside the tournament.

Fan Fest Adds Another Layer

Fans attending the final weekend will also have an additional opportunity to experience the Game Changers community through a dedicated Fan Fest.

The Fan Fest is scheduled for 30 October to 1 November at the Community Creators Academy in Vila Leopoldina, São Paulo. It will include a watch party, PC Bang, Artists Alley, creator appearances and other community activations.

This means that people who cannot get into the main arena can still participate in the championship atmosphere during the final three days.

The Fan Fest demonstrates how modern esports events increasingly combine competitive matches with entertainment and community experiences.

Following the Action From Nigeria

Although the championship is taking place in Brazil, VALORANT players and fans in Nigeria and across Africa can follow the competition through official VALORANT Esports channels.

For Nigerian gamers, the tournament can provide an opportunity to study high-level VALORANT gameplay, observe professional strategies and follow the development of the Game Changers competitive scene.
