Quest Update Adds Xbox-Style Gamepad Mode and HDMI Virtual Display

Meta’s Quest OS 2.7 rollout adds two practical options for Nigerian headset owners. Quest Touch controllers can emulate an Xbox-style gamepad for supported Xbox and Steam Link sessions on Quest 3 and Quest 3S. Virtual Display can also show Windows or Mac screens and compatible HDMI input inside the headset. Meta describes 2.7 as a staged rollout, so availability may not reach every headset at once. Players relying on streaming should check local Wi-Fi stability and data use, while HDMI use still requires compatible input hardware.
