Nigeria Reaches FIFAe Africa Mobile Semifinal but Misses Finals Berth
Nigeria reached the eFootball Mobile semifinal at the FIFAe Continental Championship Africa in Casablanca on 27 August before Egypt ended the run. Egypt advanced from the tie, leaving Nigeria outside Africa's two places at the FIFAe Finals.
FIFAe's official Nigeria competition record lists Kiing_OT, Tams and Pain among the country's 2026 Mobile players. It also shows that Nigeria participated in the Console Nations League during the season, correcting the earlier version of this article which said Nigeria only entered Mobile competition.
The result still marks a strong continental run for Nigeria, but it also shows the narrow margin between reaching an African semifinal and earning a global Finals place. Players following future FIFAe events should use the official association page for verified fixtures, results and roster changes.
