Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta Starts 28 August Across PC, PS5, Xbox and Switch 2

Modern Warfare 4's free open beta runs from 28 August at 6:00pm WAT to 1 September at 6:00pm WAT across Steam, Battle.net, Xbox on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

Weekend Two adds Warzone Resurgence on the new Zodiac map, raises the level cap to 30 and brings new maps, modes, weapons and the remaining beta rewards. Nintendo Switch 2 joins the test for the first time and does not require a preorder.

Infinity Ward says it is also tuning spawns, time-to-kill and movement after the early-access weekend. The studio's live patch notes remain the authoritative place for balance changes and playlist availability.

Nigerian players should preload where available, use the same Activision account for progression and budget for any platform update before the beta opens.
