Korea: IL-2 Series Brings Full VR Flight Combat to Steam
Korea: IL-2 Series is listed on Steam with PC VR support, offering a new combat-flight simulation set around the Korean War.
The game supports OpenXR and OpenVR headsets, but its Steam page says VR controllers are not supported. Players will need another control method, with full controller and joystick support listed alongside keyboard and mouse.
The minimum specification calls for Windows 10 or 11, 16GB of RAM, an 8GB graphics card such as an RTX 3060 or RX 7600, DirectX 12 and 35GB of storage.
The recommended specification rises sharply to 32GB of RAM and high-end graphics hardware. For VR, the developer recommends a current-generation graphics card with at least 16GB of video memory.
That is the main consideration for Nigerian players. A headset alone is not enough: stable performance will depend on the PC, control setup and room for the download. Players on capped or expensive data plans should budget for the 35GB installation and later updates.
Steam lists August 4, 2026 as the release date. Nigerian players should confirm the live price, purchase availability and payment options on the Steam store before buying because regional storefront details can change.
