High On Life VR Targets Quest, PS VR2 and SteamVR in 2027
High On Life is being rebuilt for virtual reality through a partnership between Squanch Games and Flat2VR Studios. The VR edition is scheduled for 2027 on Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR, with wishlists already open on all three platforms.
The announcement promises a more physical version of the game's talking weapons and comedy-driven combat, placing its Gatlians directly in the player's hands. Squanch has not yet announced a final release date, price, supported Quest models or detailed PC requirements.
For Nigerian VR players, the three-platform launch matters because it avoids tying the release to a single headset ecosystem. Buyers should still check the store region attached to their account, controller and headset compatibility, download size and PC specifications before treating a wishlist listing as a purchase guarantee.
Players interested in the SteamVR edition should also budget for the PC hardware needed to run it. Quest and PS VR2 users should wait for the final compatibility pages rather than assuming every headset revision will be supported.
