Carry1st Backs Nerdwork Comic-Con Ahead of Port Harcourt Gaming Finals

Carry1st has joined Nerdwork Comic-Con 2026 as a sponsor days before the Port Harcourt convention opens on Saturday, 26 September.

Nerdwork's official artwork lists an 11:00 a.m. start at Lemaco Hall, Ada George, Port Harcourt. The organiser announced the Carry1st backing on 24 September, adding a pan-African games company to an event built around gaming, comics, anime, cosplay and creator culture.

This is Nerdwork Comic-Con 6.0. The organiser moved the convention from its original 5 September date to 26 September, keeping it in Port Harcourt and giving attendees a clear new date before the final countdown.

Gaming is part of the programme rather than a side attraction. Daimyo Arena says TheOne and FrizzyHT have reached the Festival of Fighters final, which will be decided at the convention. Nerdwork has also used its official channels to promote Call of Duty: Mobile activity around the event.

The partnership matters beyond one weekend. It connects a Port Harcourt community convention with a company operating across African game publishing, payments and distribution, while giving Nigerian players and creators outside Lagos another visible meeting point. It also shows how gaming, comics and creator culture are sharing the same stage in a city with an active community scene.

Nerdwork has not published a complete gaming timetable in the sponsorship announcement. Attendees should confirm ticket availability and the latest running order through the organiser's verified profile before travelling.
