Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 Gives Players a Free Mythic-Weapon Route
Call of Duty: Mobile's current season adds a top-down multiplayer mode, a limited-time Battle Royale location and a route for dedicated players to earn one of three Mythic weapons without buying a premium draw.
Season 8, Against All Fate, launched on 9 September as a collaboration with Honkai Impact 3rd. Activision says the update includes the ISO Hemlock assault rifle in the free Battle Pass tiers, the Static-HV SMG through the Challenge Pass and a new Mythic Weapon Series Armoury.
What Nigerian mobile players should know
The free Mythic event is the standout because premium weapon draws can become expensive. Players should read the in-game task requirements and expiry dates before spending Call of Duty Points. The collaboration also adds story quests, a collection system and a limited-time point of interest on the Isolated Battle Royale map.
The practical advice is simple: update over Wi-Fi where possible, check the download size on your device and prioritise the free event path before paying for cosmetic draws. Performance can vary sharply across lower-memory Android phones, so keep enough storage free before installing seasonal resources.
Seasonal content can disappear when the next update arrives, so players should claim earned rewards before the in-game countdown ends. Competitive players should also review the current weapon balance instead of assuming a Mythic cosmetic changes core statistics. The official announcement, live event screens and regional store remain the final sources for availability and pricing.
