Women Game Jam Nigeria joins the tenth international Women Game Jam on 16–18 October 2026. The Nigerian edition is fully online through the official global Discord; the exact kickoff hour has not yet been announced. Register individually by 9 October through the official form. Participation through Discord is free. Participants must be 18 or older. No previous game-development experience is required: artists, programmers, writers, designers, sound creators and first-timers can form teams and build a digital or analogue game around the revealed theme. The Nigeria page says a computer, Discord account and reliable internet connection are needed. The event primarily highlights women and gender-diverse creators; teams including men must follow the organiser’s leadership and majority rules. Confirm the final programme and joining link with the organiser before the event. Official Nigeria details: https://www.womengamejam.org/nigeria .
